The Newfoundland Growlers look to etch their name into the ECHL history books as they continue their quest for the Kelly Cup this weekend in the 2019 Kelly Cup Finals against the Toledo Walleye, ECHL affiliate of the Detroit Red Wings. The Growlers and Walleye did not meet during the regular season.

With Saturday’s win over the Florida Everblades, the Growlers become the first team to reach the ECHL Finals in their first season since the Greensboro Monarchs in 1990.
