The Newfoundland Growlers play their final game before the holiday break in an afternoon matinee against the Brampton Beast. The Growlers are 3-1 against the Beast so far this season.


Zach O’Brien led the way with three points as the Newfoundland Growlers defeated the Maine Mariners Wednesday night at Mile One Centre 5-2. Adam Pardy, Marcus Power, Stefan LeBlanc and Scott Pooley also supplied goals for the Growlers. Giorgio Estephan had a pair of assists. Mario Culina made 31 saves improving to a perfect 4-0 this season.

December 2nd – 5-2 Newfoundland Growlers

Three third period goals propelled the Newfoundland Growlers to a commanding 5-2 win over the Brampton Beast at Mile One Centre. Sam Babintsev, J.J. Piccinich, Brady Ferguson, Evan Neugold and Scott Pooley supplied the offense for the Growlers. Aaron Luchuk and Nathan Todd scored for Brampton. Michael Garteig was sensational making 35 saves.
