Brady Ferguson led the way with a three-point night as the Newfoundland Growlers defeated the Worcester Railers 5-2 Wednesday night at Mile One Centre. Josh Kestner, J.J. Piccinich, Marcus Power, and Giorgio Estephan along with Ferguson tallied for the Growlers who extended their winning streak to four games. Mario Culina made 15 saves in his Mile One Centre debut, and improved to 2-0 on the season.

Josh Kestner was the overtime hero in the Growlers first time going past regulation in franchise history as the Newfoundland Growlers defeated the Manchester Monarchs 4-3 at the SNHU Arena in Manchester, New Hampshire. Kestner also tallied in regulation for a two-goal evening and Brady Ferguson had the other two Growlers goals. Matt Marcinew and David Kolomatis had multi-point nights for the Monarchs. Michael Garteig made 27 saves in the win.
