The Newfoundland Growlers return to home ice for a busy seven-game home stand that kicks off Friday night against the Worcester Railers, ECHL affiliate of the New York Islanders. The Growlers and Railers have squared off five times this season, with the Growlers sporting a 4-0-1-0 record.

Michael Garteig made 25 saves in the win. Etienne Marcoux was chased after 40 minutes of play, and allowed seven goals on 32 shots in the loss.

Brady Ferguson, Zach O’Brien, Ryan Moore and Scott Pooley, along with Babintsev, tallied for Newfoundland. Giorgio Estephan had two assists. Michael Garteig stopped 22-of-23 shots between the pipes.
