The Newfoundland Growlers begin a busy seven-game homestand with a pair of weekend games against the Brampton Beast, ECHL affiliate of the Ottawa Senators, wrapping up their 13-game season series. The Growlers have dominated the Beast this season, sporting an 8-3 record.

Eamon McAdam was solid between the pipes making 23 saves as the Newfoundland Growlers extended their point streak to eight games with a 4-1 win over the Brampton Beast Sunday afternoon at the CAA Centre. Josh Kestner, Evan Neugold, Marcus Power and Derian Plouffe tallied for the Growlers. Francois Beauchemin had the lone Beast marker. Etienne Marcoux made 28 saves for Brampton.
