Growlers Sign Mario Culina

St. John’s, NL – The Newfoundland Growlers have signed the Sault Ste. Marie, Ontario native Mario Culina to a standard ECHL contract.

The 6’-2”, 188-pound Goaltender appeared in 71 regular season games in the OHL over the past three seasons with the Windsor Spitfires, Sudbury Wolves and Kitchener Rangers. He recorded 38 wins with a .906 save percentage and a 2.84 Goals Against Average.
