The Newfoundland Growlers look to make it nine wins in a row as they bring their hot streak to Florida for a mid-week matchup against the Jacksonville Icemen at the Veterans Memorial Arena.

The Newfoundland Growlers received offense from five different players, extending their winning streak to eight games as they defeated the Reading Royals 5-2 Saturday night at the Santander Arena in Reading, PA. Hudson Elynuik, Ryan Moore, Todd Skirving, Zach O’Brien and Sam Babintsev tallied for the Growlers. Mario Culina was sensational making 40 saves and improving to 3-0 this season.
