The Newfoundland Growlers wrap up a five-game road trip with a pair of weekend games against the Brampton Beast, ECHL affiliate of the Ottawa Senators. This weekend series marks the final time the Growlers travel to Brampton this season. The two clubs have squared off nine times this season, with the Growlers sporting a 6-3 series lead. Both the Growlers and Beast are on six-game point streaks, with an identical 4-0-2-0 record in their last six games.

Adam Larkin netted the winner 2:31 into overtime as the Greenville Swamp Rabbits tamed the Newfoundland Growlers 5-4 Sunday afternoon at the Bon Secours Wellness Arena in Greenville, South Carolina. Josh Kestner, Ryan Moore, Sam Babintsev and Derian Plouffe scored for Newfoundland. Zach O’Brien had two assists for a multi-point afternoon. Eamon McAdam was pulled in the second period after allowing four goals on 16 shots, but Michael Garteig was credited with the loss despite stopping 10-of-11 shots.
