The Newfoundland Growlers return home from North West Valley, Utah for a pair of mid-week games before the Holiday break against the Adirondack Thunder, ECHL affiliate of the New Jersey Devils. The North Division rivals have only faced each other once this season, with the Growlers getting the upper hand in a 3-2 victory.

LAST GAME

Joseph Duszak scored two goals late in the third period under a minute apart but the Newfoundland Growlers couldn’t complete the comeback and fell 3-2 to the Utah Grizzles Saturday night at the Maverik Center in North West Valley, Utah. Michael Kapla recorded a pair of assists to continue his hot play as of late. Yuri Terao led the way for the Grizzlies with a pair of goals. Parker Gahagen made 26 saves for Newfoundland, and Martin Ouellette made 32 for Utah.
