ST. JOHN'S, NL – The Newfoundland Growlers, ECHL affiliate of the Toronto Maple Leafs, announced today that forwards Bobby Lynch and Isaac Johnson have been recalled from loan by the AHL’s Manitoba Moose.
Lynch, a 23-year-old Grand Blanc, Michigan native, has appeared in nine games with the Growlers, collecting two goals and seven assists in the process. His best game in a Growlers uniform occurred just this past weekend, as he recorded three assists, five shots-on-goal and a plus-two rating in the club’s 5-4 win over Trois-Riviėres on December 11.
Lynch has appeared in six AHL games with the Moose already this season, collecting two assists.
Johnson, 22, has scored six goals and recorded three assists for nine points in 18 games as a Growler this season. The Andover, Minnesota native has recorded three game-winning goals for Newfoundland, good for not only the team lead but a tie for second amongst all ECHL skaters. His six goals are tied for third-most on the squad.
He has yet to make an appearance in the AHL with the Moose.
