BEN FINKELSTEIN NAMED ECHL PLUS PERFORMER OF THE MONTH FOR MARCH

ST. JOHN’S, NL –The Newfoundland Growlers, ECHL affiliate of the Toronto Maple Leafs, are proud to announce that defenseman Ben Finkelstein has won the AMI Graphics ECHL Plus Performer of the Month for March for leading the league in plus-minus during the month.

The South Burlington, Vermont native led the league with a plus-17 rating in his 12 games played in the month of March. He recorded a plus-minus rating of even or better in all 12 games played in March.

Through just 28 games played with the Growlers, Finkelstein ranks second among all ECHL defensemen in points with 49, including 10 goals and 39 assists. His 39 assists is tops among all ECHL defenders.

In recognition of his accomplishment, AMI Graphics will present Finkelstein with a personalized Plus Performer of the Month Banner during an on-ice ceremony at an upcoming Growlers’ home game.

The Growlers return home to the Mary Brown’s Centre for the final homestand of the 2021-22 ECHL season, which kicks off on Friday, April 1 as the Growlers host the Worcester Railers.
