ST. JOHN’S, NL – The Newfoundland Growlers, ECHL affiliate of the Toronto Maple Leafs, are proud to announce that skilled forward Pavel Gogolev has been assigned to the club by the Toronto Marlies (AHL).
Gogolev, a 22-year-old Moscow, Russia native, played 14 regular season contests with the Growlers during the 2021-22 season and scored nine goals with 11 assists for 20 points. He added an additional three goals and five assists in 10 postseason contests.
The NHL-contracted forward has 45 games of AHL experience with the Toronto Marlies since the 2020-21 season. He has appeared in one game for the Marlies this season.
