The Newfoundland Growlers made it back-to-back road wins with a 6-1 victory over the Trois-Rivières Lions on Wednesday night at Colisèe Vidèotron.

Jason Horvath opened the scoring for Trois-Rivières just four minutes into the first period with a bank shot from below the goal line to make it 1-0 Lions early.

Orrin Centazzo replied for Newfoundland four minutes later as he finished off a great feed from Zach O’Brien short side to make it 1-1 with 11:38 left in the 1st.

Centazzo added a second on the powerplay seven minutes later to give the Growlers their first lead of the game.

Jack Badini made it 3-1 for Newfoundland heading into the first intermission as he blasted a one-timer past Phillipe Desrosiers with 3:03 left in the opening period.

Brett Budgell joined the scoring party three minutes into the middle frame with a hot shot from the top of the circle to make it 4-1 Growlers after 40 minutes.

Brennan Kapcheck scored a sweet solo effort goal midway through the third before Centazzo sealed his hat-trick with a breakaway beauty with 6:45 left to go as the high-flying Growlers went on to secure a 6-1 road win.
