Ryan Chyzowski Assigned To Growlers

ST. JOHN’S, NL – The Newfoundland Growlers, ECHL affiliate of the Toronto Maple Leafs, announced today that forward Ryan Chyzowski has been assigned to the club by the Toronto Marlies (AHL).

Chyzowski, a 23-year-old Kamloops, BC native, has spent most of this season in the AHL, playing 36 games for the Marlies in the regular season before notching three points (2G, 1A) in seven postseason appearances for Toronto.

In just five appearances for Newfoundland this season, he racked up nine points (5G, 4A) before being recalled.

The second year pro split time between Newfoundland and Toronto in 2021-22 but played a pivotal role in the Growlers postseason run last Spring, appearing in 17 playoff games.

Newfoundland return home for Game Four of the Eastern Conference Final on Thursday, May 25. Tickets for Thursday and the rest of the postseason are available now at nlgrowlers.com/playoffs.
