Marlies Assign 11 Players To Growlers

ST. JOHN’S, NL - The Newfoundland Growlers announced today the Toronto Marlies have assigned 11 players to the team ahead of the upcoming 2023-24 season.

Comprised of seven forwards, two defencemen and two goaltenders, the group assigned from the AHL includes three former Growlers plus an additional eight rookies:

FORWARDS (7):

Jackson Berezowski, Brock Caufield, Grant Cruikshank, Neil Shea, Tate Singleton, Todd Skirving*, Tyler Weiss

DEFENCEMEN (2):

Nolan Dillingham, Jonny Tychonick*

GOALTENDERS (2):

Dryden McKay*, Vyacheslav Peksa

*Played with Growlers during 2022-23 season

These additions bring the Newfoundland active roster to 17 (nine forwards, six defencemen, two goaltenders).

The Growlers return to the Mary Brown’s Centre to open the 2023-24 ECHL season on Friday, October 20 as they host the Reading Royals. Single game tickets for our opening homestand and the remainder of the regular season are on sale now as well as our 3, 9 & 18 Game Flex Packs.
