The Newfoundland Growlers look to close out the series on the road in game five of the North Division Semifinals. The Growlers dropped game four Thursday night 4-1, marking the first time the Growlers have lost at the CAA Centre in Brampton since January. If necessary, the series switches back to Mile One Centre on Tuesday night.
LAST GAME
Etienne Marcoux continued his exceptional play between the pipes this series making 32 saves as the Brampton Beast avoided elimination Thursday night at the CAA Centre in a 4-1 win. David Vallorani, Aaron Luchuk, Francois Beauchemin and Daniel Ciampini scored for the Beast. Matt Petgrave had a pair of assists. Hudson Elynuik had the lone Growlers tally, scoring in back-to-back games since being assigned to the Growlers by the Toronto Marlies. The game became chippy in the final moments of the game, with five misconducts handed out in the final four minutes of play. Michael Garteig made 37 saves in the loss.
