Growlers Acquire Malcolm Gould From Railers

ST. JOHN’S, NEWFOUNDLAND —The Newfoundland Growlers announced on Tuesday that they have acquired Malcolm Gould from the Worcester Railers for future considerations.

Gould, a North Vancouver, BD, native appeared in 2 games with the Worcester Railers this season. Prior to joining the Railers Gould played for the Dundee Stars of the EIHL, where he put up 14 goals and 24 assists for 38 points in 55 games. During the 2016-17 season, the 25-year-old spent a season in France playing for Strasbourg of Ligue Magnus. While with Strasbourg, Gould compiled 12 goals and 11 assists for 23 points in just 27 games. 

The Newfoundland Growlers embark on a seven-game homestand which begins on March 1st versus the Brampton Beast. Puck drop is 7 p.m., tickets are on sale now at the Mile One Centre Box office, online at mileonecentre.com or by phone at 709-576-7657.
