The Toronto Marlies have assigned forward Semyon Der-Arguchintsev to the Newfoundland Growlers.
Der-Arguchintsev scored 6 goals and tallied 43 assists for 49 points this season with the Peterborough Petes of the Ontario Hockey League. The 18-year-old centre is expected to his Growlers debut on Friday night as the Growlers take on the Manchester Monarchs.Â
Der-Arguchintsev was selected by the Maple Leafs in the third round (76th overall) of the 2018 NHL Draft in June.
