ST. JOHN’S, NEWFOUNDLAND— The Newfoundland Growlers announced today that forward Maxim Mizyurin has taken an indefinite leave of absence from the club for personal reasons, he will return to Russia.
The Omsk, Russia native appeared in 6 games this season with the Newfoundland Growlers where he recorded 1 goal and 2 penalty minutes.
The Growlers are back in action Friday night in Glens Falls, New York as they take on the Adirondack Thunder. Puck drop is slated 8:30 PM and fans can tune in to the internet broadcast at mixlr.com/nlgrowlers.
